The University of Toronto claimed the second position with an index score of 94.9, showcasing its strong commitment to sustainability across multiple dimensions. The University of British Columbia secured the third position with an index score of 94.5, highlighting its significant contributions to sustainable practices and initiatives.

The University of Florence, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) obtained index scores of 57.9, 57.6, and 57.6, respectively, placing them at the 147th to 149th positions in the rankings. These institutions demonstrated noteworthy efforts in sustainability, although they scored relatively lower compared to the top-ranking universities.
