In January 2022 and January 2023, Zurich consistently maintained its position as the city with the highest cost of living. Basel and Beirut ranked second and third, respectively, in 2022, while Geneva and Honolulu secured the second and third positions in 2023. These cities have relatively higher expenses, particularly in areas such as housing and daily necessities.
Conversely, cities like Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi consistently appeared with lower cost of living scores. These locations provide a more affordable lifestyle compared to the top-ranking cities, allowing residents to manage their expenses more comfortably.
